In 2008, Beats launched their Studio headphone and permanently changed the consumer electronics landscape. They proved that a massive marketing spend combined with a cool looking design was all that was needed to justify a premium price-point. Many brands followed suit, each looking to carve out a niche in the newly defined lifestyle audio market.
In 2010, EMB headed the team that was commissioned by The House of Marley to launch the brand. As a Creative Director, EMB led design and strategic efforts in every category the company has pursued, and helped Marley trailblaze sustainable materials and manufacturing in the consumer electronics industry.
