I've been creating products for about two decades. While I still like to make things myself, I've found that building and leading teams allows us to exponentially increase our creative power.
I began my career designing and developing sports equipment which sparked a lifelong curiosity with manufacturing methods. When I moved into consulting, I relished the super charged creative environment where I acquired a skill set to address all manner of client needs. I learned to deliver velocity; from strategies and pitch decks, to concept sketches, complex CAD and DFM direction.
Being familiar with a wide variety of materials and processes nurtures the cross pollination of methods to solve problems. I have leveraged my experience designing eyewear and motocross armor to create cutting edge medtech wearables. And having worked with stamped metal on audio components, helped my team engineer an advanced snowboard binding system.
But its not just about Design. Launching my own products has taught me to value all the other responsibilities needed to run a good company.

VISION
Launching products into relevant and emerging markets requires strategic insights. The goal is to identify opportunities specific to your brand by coordinating Q² research, competitive product analysis, and studying user interactions. A well thought out strategy draws actionable insights from the research, seeking the critical intersections of technology, trend, and culture.
DIRECTION
A perfect team isn’t additive, it multiplies its members’ strengths. Great creative direction requires clear communication and the ability to manage an organic creative process. I champion the freedom to nurture raw ideas using a flexible framework that guides output toward a focused goal.
DESIGN
Great design is delicious. It’s not just about a clever idea or a cool form. As the creative process is manifested into a manufacturable expression of intent, we must ensure the original spark of innovation and attractive aesthetic thrive. The consumer experience of the physical object begins with desire and lays the foundation for building a lasting emotional connection to the brand.
